QRefine Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set forth the conditions for using the mobile application “QRefine” (“the app”) provided by Ttech LLC (“the Company”). By using the app, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between the Company and users regarding the use of the app.
  2. The handling of personal information in the app is governed by the separately provided Privacy Policy.

Article 2 (The App)

  1. The app provides features for scanning, generating, and managing QR codes.
  2. Some features of the app become available by purchasing the paid plan (QRefine Pro, “Pro”) or by meeting certain conditions.
  3. The Company may change, add, or discontinue features of the app without prior notice to users.

Article 3 (Purchases and Subscriptions)

  1. Pro is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly / yearly) and as a one-time (lifetime) purchase.
  2. Purchases and payments are processed through Google Play or the App Store (“the stores”), and each store’s terms of service and payment conditions apply.
  3. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the fee is charged through the store upon renewal.
  4. To cancel a subscription, use your store account settings (Google Play “Subscriptions” / App Store “Subscriptions”). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  5. Purchases can be restored from within the app using the same store account used for the purchase.
  6. Refunds are subject to each store’s refund policy. The Company cannot process refunds directly.
  7. If you cancel during a paid period, no prorated refund is provided in principle, and you can continue to use Pro until the end of the period.

Article 4 (Intellectual Property)

Copyrights, trademarks, and all other intellectual property rights in and related to the app belong to the Company or legitimate rights holders. You may use the app only for personal use.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the app, you must not:

  1. Violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  2. Engage in conduct related to criminal activity or that harms or disadvantages third parties
  3. Generate or distribute QR codes for fraudulent purposes such as phishing
  4. Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise analyze the app (except as permitted by law)
  5. Interfere with the operation of the app
  6. Engage in any other conduct the Company reasonably deems inappropriate

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

  1. The app is provided “as is.” The Company makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  2. The accuracy of scan and generation results is not guaranteed, nor is it guaranteed that generated QR codes will be correctly read by scanning devices or other applications.
  3. The Company is not responsible for the use of QR codes you generate or scan with the app, or for the consequences thereof (including accessing linked destinations).
  4. All or part of the app may be unavailable depending on your device, OS version, model, or other environmental factors.
  5. The Company is not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, except in cases of the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence. Where the Company is liable, its liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the preceding 12 months (except where limited by mandatory provisions of applicable law, such as consumer protection laws).

Article 7 (Your Data)

Please back up your QR code data at your own responsibility. The Company is not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, deletion of the app, or similar causes.

Article 8 (Changes to These Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms when deemed necessary. The amended Terms take effect when posted on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app or on the store pages. By continuing to use the app after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute arising in connection with the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s head office.
